If Chapter 5 really does have the flowers become Darkners of the Dreemurrs and Holidays, I wonder if we'll actually be able to Recruit them at all.
The "charred in an inferno of jealousy" bit makes me think maybe a fire actually breaks out while in the Dark World. If so, maybe the family Darkners are destined to die and we can only rescue the objects instead.
Would be weird to have the flowers jammed in the Closet.

Y'know, I paired the characters with these flowers just cause of colors matching up, but actually they kinda fit the SOUL representations too.

I can't wait to kill Flowey AGAIN.

I'm calling this for Chapter 5.
We're going to see Asgore in a fantasy of his own making where fake flower versions of his friends and family still love him. And we're going to have to drag him out of it one way or another.

And since they're plants, we may actually be able to kill them for real.

I think Chapter 5 is going to have a Dark World in Flower King, and we're going to see Asgore trying to escape reality with a fake copy family and friends made of his flowers.
