I was thinking about this, and I think it be really cool if you did Snowgrave/Weird Route that you end up playing as Susie and YOU are the one thats attacking the heart. The way that the video game in CH 3 played out and Gerson's dialogue in CH4 played out does hint that. When you kill Ralsei and Susie in the game and are given a different partner in the form of the white hooded bitch, and thee fact that Noelle plays a greater role in the weird route, sort of sets up NOELLE being the girl(how I interpreted it anyway). Gerson's dialogue in the secret boss calling Susie "The Dragon" also sets her apart from the main team, but still having a clear role in the story. Shes probably being set up to be the wild card. Deltarune is a self contained experiment to create a monster with determination (Susie), Gaster establishes a line of contact with (you) on twitter, if you are interested you buy the game then Gaster gives you the soul as your body vessel to go in and fulfill Gaster's wishes of creating a monster with determination.
As monsters with determination aren't a thing yet, you get stuck with the only human around being Kris, but from there your mission is still definite and you are trying to make do despite of Kris.
The point of the story isn't to counteract the prophecy but to fulfill Deltarune and give Susie her own Determination.
As for what would Gaster do with it, I still don't know to this point.

My perspective is that it's a control thing. Noelle is subconsciously a masochist and wants someone to take control for her so she doesn't have to be afraid.
Her being into it, being thankful and looking forward to the festival makes me think that it's actually Kris in fear of her. That would mean we took advantage of Kris and not Noelle.

That being said, future chapters could prove me wrong, and I would admit it.

Just had a weird idea. The game keeps track of a lot of our choices. And the demo was called survey program. So what if we are being judged on our choices by gaster.
