Am no expert but GI (AGI) would still follow this idea. Call me crazy but AI will eventual work like how the human brain does.

Our brains are nothing more than a biological computer, at the end of the day it's electrons turning off and on again, just with a whole lot more quarks.

Just as a regular person is influenced through their parent's dna and the information they learned through their life. This is just the same as what computer architecture the ai is built on and what information it is given and how it should interpret it.
