You literally said nothing that supports the argument for black skinned dwarfs existing? Go ahead and inform me. Dwarfs in the world that was were all white/pale skinned. So how are there African dwarfs now?
You make arguments about places of trade, using the real world as an argument for the diversity within the setting. The setting is not the real world, if you use the real world to justify the setting in context of diversity you are doing exactly what GW is doing. The reality is that the dwarfs are black skinned because this is the anglo GW DEI push.
They explicitly said they wanted to respect China and wrote about skin tones in regards to Cathay recently. Yet for Euro cultures in Fantasy they push blacks everywhere. They said in the Cathay posts how important it was for people to see themselves in historically inspired factions. Yet they still put blacks into French and German inspired nations. Because of their DEI ideology.
Cathay and their recent warcom articles are the smoking gun that puts to rest literally any explanation other than DEI initiatives for this crap. Read the hypocrisy from GW yourself and see that it isn't about lore, it's about putting blacks into traditional white settings because that is what DEI is in this context. This is why Fantasy China doesn't suffer any of the same blacks in their models despite being at their height and trading with almost everyone else in the world at the time.
