Fucking seriously, how is this supposed to work? Like, if Spider-Man didn't have a mask made of magically retractable nanomachines that pops open every time he has dialogue, people were going to...what? Forget that it was Tom Holland under there and walk out of the theater? Why is this a thing?

I hated the Rush Hour movies so fucking much. They're not badly made, but just what is the fucking point? Why would you want to watch a Jackie Chan movie where his stuntwork and fight scenes are limited because of age and insurance liabilities? It's a pale imitation of his earlier films and they fill in the gaps with a replacement-level plot and some crackhead screaming like a girl for 2 hours.

The thing is, if they wanted to extrapolate and come up with crazy new permutations of the Xeno and have more advanced ships and tech and Androids....why not just make sequels where all that makes sense and isn't incongruous with the previous films?
