I just think that Christianity was never designed for a society like modern 2025 America (I don't care about others since they don't affect my life). It preaches about rejecting the world, however this was in a much more communal and socialized society, if you "reject the world" now you'll just be left a completely isolated pariah, especially when you preach this message to children such that they never grow up with any youthful teenage experiences. Christianity simply was never designed for a world of computers and AI, I fear. At least in my own personal life I also noticed this because I got really into Christianity during my teenage years, I already had a very antisocial isolated upbringing but this wasn't due to religious reasons it was purely secular with my alcoholic abusive family, and I just kept on noticing that it's impossible to do shit as a teenager or have any social life whatsoever without either 1. experiencing severe cognitive dissonance or 2. not taking it that seriously. This extreme antisocial isolation also isn't helped by Christianity's sectarianism since you're expected to believe in a sect and actively deny others, rather than them being like optional clubs or something lol which would also make merely attending a church, without being actively convinced in it, which is impossible if you don't think it's true, kinda sinful in of itself.

I want to present perhaps to you a new idea. Moral solipsism. Only I am morally correct. No other human, god, divine mortal immense small old young, no other existent being is moral. I alone am moral. Whatever I do is moral. Whatever others do is immoral. Thoughts on that idea?

Tarrifs are not just taxes on the entering the border, you can also consider regulations, the cost of doing business, rules, etc as part of the whole giant idea of trading. China is very autarkic. National resources are state owned, foreign companies are not allowed to enter those fields (like steel for example). Also, China has higher tarrifs than the US
