I absolutely love math and physics, and I am an enthusiast but I don't have a particular background in it. I really like vector math as well as angle math, which has served me very, very well in making my game.

A 3D collecathon that plays like Sonic Adventure and Mario 64 combined.

If you count "Mario 64" and "Sonic Adventure" as single words because they're titles, see above.

Godot. Still working on it. The level isn't pretty at all, I'm just blocking it out.

I watched you play Ellie and Osh, and, I suppose it's my fault for not having enough signage or something, but the point of the game is you could run up walls. That's the central gimmick. You never ran up the wall in the first section and therefore didn't see even a fraction of the content. That's depressing for me, but an important lesson learned to put more coins or something there to signify you can do that. Sorry.

I'm making a 3D platfemormer game in Godot, and I don't think it's that bad.

So, the solution I personally have is to have a direction vector that is always perpendicular to my ground vector, and apply movement in THAT direction. If the slope I am on is 45 degrees, I apply my force at a 45 degree angle.

That might be overkill, though.
