Just finished the remaster of System shock 2 and it was honestly underwhelming af. I’ve heard for a decade plus that this game is a must play and I just dont see it… I played the orignal System shock years ago and then the remaster when it came out and I have to say 1>>>2 Am I wrong? Why is the sequel so revered when its an inferior version? Even Shodan sucked in 2 compared to the orignal. Can someone enlighten me please as to why 2 so beloved

Are there any games where it pulls the trope of "you're actually working for the bad guys" halfway through, but gives you the option to keep working with them and doesn't give you a bad end for doing it?
