Yeah, In Silico is way different than their previous albums, but I still really enjoy it.
I never got the "WOW THIS NEW SHIT ISN'T LIKE THEIR OLD SHIT," like yeah I get seeing something you like depart from why you enjoyed it in the first place, but imagine being a band, traveling the world, and doing what you love as part of your work, then your faggot fans want you to play the same 12 songs over and over everyday for the rest of your life, kek.
Even artists (of all types) that I love make shit I don't like, or change their taste as they progress. I just don't consume the art of theirs as proportional to the stuff I enjoy. It's literally that shrimple.

i don't know if this is a good idea but it popped into my head anyway.
musing on how to handle saving and quitting in this sort of game with incomprehensible scale, perhaps it would be a neat (but potentially annoying) feature to only allow quitting the game when you put down a campsite and make a solid save- and you could have the camping system be overly detailed.

One of the biggest hidden issues with western economies, is that we fucked up our labor balance. We used to have plenty of people available to work at restauarants, hotels, farms, factories, trades, because we didn't effectively outlaw (or villify) having 14-18 year olds work, and we didn't force 70% of 18-25 year olds to waste time at forever school so they could work at paper pushers inc.
Everything made sense. Dummies dropped out of school after 8th grade (now they waste 4 more years of their time and public resources getting babysat in remedial/retard HS classes), and entered the workforce. Midwits got their HS diploma and then went straight into the workforce. Smarties went to college and then smart jobs. This provided an acceptable amount of retard low skill laborers, midwit mid skill laborers, and smart white collar workers.
Instead now we force dummies to get their HS diploma and then community college. We force midwits to waste endless years in college on a meme degree racking up debt. And we water down the university experience of smarties by forcing them to suffer the midwits and retards rather than it being a hyper competitive elite space.
We should have WAY more available workers for low and mid skill hands on work. We should have WAY less corporate workers. We fucked up our natural balance and then imported the 3rd world in to make up for the short fall.
