Guardian is better with a good team than with a team of shitters

Sure Guardian can shieldtank the boss for extremely long times but shitters will keep going down again and again, and you wont have enough reviving dives to constantly, and thus it will eventually become a 1vs1 between the birb and the boss
With a good teammates rarely go down, thus you will always have a reviving dive for the random time one of your teammates go down.

Guardian is so much more fun once you realize that blocking is your whole identity and that anything that's not a grab will do nothing to you while on steel guard. His damage sucks yeah but you get to stick to the boss with no fear whatsoever.
