Reminder that, if Tails died, Windnic would smile at the camera, say "Heh, nothing's gonna keep me down!" and run into the horizon like a true fuarking paragon fairy.

>even Tails had to chase AFTER Sonic when they first met.
So... We've never been shown what Sonic does when people don't need or want him? Great.
>Sonic needed help from his friends to save the day in Heroes
Yeah, the game where only Sonic could turn Super and gave his friends consolation bubbles. Great example. Call me when someone succeeds where Sonic fails.
>Sonic literally puts his life on the line for others on the regular
Not sacrifice if he doesn't fear death. He has never been shown to fear it, and everything he does is something he'll never regret, so it's not like he's taking some sort of risk.
Really, it's awfully convenient to make a character be "so cool" cause he doesn't care about dying and smiles in the face of death, but then trying to make him virtuous by going "Oh he's risking it all to save everyone!". You can't have both, but that's something Windfags love to do. Having their cake and eating it too.

>Did you jus try to compare being content in 1 way with being content in another way?
Yes, because they're analogous. I don't care if you personally don't like rotting away in your room, all that matters is the perspective of the observer. If I do that, and I'm content, then I'm living by Sonic's ideals. Unless his ideals are specifically about doing the stuff HE personally likes to do?
>making him obsessed with his personal image
Strawman.
>of making it so his desire to help others ISN'T borne from a kind and altruistic heart
It would be from a heroic heart, which is above altruism because heroism involves self-sacrifice.
>Sonic doesn't need to think he "could've done better" because he ALWAYS does the best he can
Does he train every day to become even stronger so he can save people better? No? Then it's not his best.
"I did my best" is a self-serving cope. A real man would acknowledge the inherent greed and laziness of his nature and try to fight it while knowing it's an uphill battle.
