Sonic & The Blade of Courage was the coolest thing ever.

My only problem is with Yuta.

Yuta is cool, I like him. But, he is just Tails again. He's more or less just Tails again, like Chris was. Isn't there more ways to have Sonic be this inspirational fairy figure than to have him awaken the courage within a seemingly weak, timid kid with the potential to be a great hero? Otherwise, why make this whole new character when it could have just been Tails?

But, it's whatever. At the very least, it was pure unadulterated Sonic the Hedgehog. He pulled a Flash and got everyone out the train in an instant, and then stopped the unstoppable force that was the train by being an unstoppable force himself. But to make up the difference in power, he needed Yuta to awaken the sword's power and slow the train down.

That whole sequence was just way past cool.

I just can't help but think that Yuta's story with Sonic, even if all the actual lore and the plot itself is massively different, is still just Tails' character arc told with different details and such. And, I love the archetype and this kind of story arc, but within the context of Sonic, I can't help but wonder "why do it all over again with a whole new character when we already have Tails?"

But on the other hand, it fits within Sonic's character. He's supposed to be an inspirational, influence force of nature who shows up and changes lives and then is gone with the wind.
