Making bullied kids go back to school and poorly explained timeline fuckery is pretty shit to be quite honest with you family. Frankly I hate all the timeline and dimension shit they keep doing, and family drama, it feels so distant from what I actually find appealing about pokemon
Kieran's story is good, I'll say that. BW's is just more interesting on a conceptual level since in contrast to the above it has a lot to do with the core of pokemon, which even if it isn't written incredibly well, it's still pokemon, it's good in the context given.
Incidentally this is also why I don't like BW2's story because it just kind of goes "eh world domination" like ok I guess

>remakes all sell in the tens of millions
>could've easily rode off that hype and saved resources by hiring the people who made those remakes
>freely hand over the IP to a company who destroyed Spyro and then question why Crash 4 didn't make 10+ million in sales
Its not even incompetence it feels like an actual disassociation from logic and success.

>as opposed to the original game which had maybe 4 or 5 unique models and just copypasted them over and over
Its about simplicity. The new ones are so overdesigned or ugly they don't even feel like they belong in the world of Spyro. No one will remember them, not even the kids who started with that specific demake.
>"Jimmy Neutron had great character designs"
>Spyro characters should look like a completely different IP
