Soooo, at some point, our brilliant legislators will have to come to grips with the fact that AI does not pay taxes, medicare, or medicaid. And somehow, America will have to assist all the displaced workers. Surely, they do not expect the American people to absorb the costs of businesses "downsizing" its workforce and landing those people on public assistance.
