guise, what is going on here
did we really need half of the fucking season(series?) finale dedicated to show peacemaker and james gunn's wife having a date? the focus on those two and how 'amazing' she is, almost made me think for a second they were going to kill her and add more drama to the show, but I guess it was that james gunn really thought we'd like the foxy shazam band or whatever they're called.
this whole season was a failure and it could have been easily reworked as just a movie for hbomax, we didn't need 8 fucking episodes for this

>peacemaker finds himself depressed because james gunn's wife rejects him, so he visits the other universe, he meets his doppelganger there, kills him and takes his place in nazi universe
>james gunn's wife realizes she actually loves peacemaker and the main cast travels to the nazi universe to get him back
>rick flag sr asks luthor for help and they track the door
>the friend group gets peacemaker back, argus gets the tech and they use it to search for a prison planet, and they call it salvation
>vigilante, out of nowhere, reveals to have a lot of cash that the rest of the cast can freely use to start Checkmate
>rick flag sr abducts peacemaker and throws him into the prison planet
Easily a 2 hour movie
