It's unbelievable that robot/bot helpers/workers/servants are gonna be thing in our lifetime.

Thats because its a good marketing gimmick and fools people into thinking the "AI" is smarter than it really is. Humans are social animals so we subconsciously seek human faces, bodies and social interactions. Draw two dots and an arc below them and people instantly think of a smiling face.
