This shows how surface level your understanding of Sonic is. Cream being disciplined and polite towards others has everything to do with her being a girl Sonic. Cream is a character who does NOT wear her heart on her sleeve and neither does Sonic. Sonic is a very emotionally reserved individual. Need I remind you?

Sonic is polite. Sonic does not like showing tears to other people. Sonic does not wear his heart on his sleeve in the same way Amy or Tails do. Amy and Tails cry. Amy and Tails are outwardly expressive and whiney. Both Sonic and Cream are reserved with their emotions and impulsive with their righteous anger. Both are warriors of justice and what they think is right. Both will always fight to do the right thing. Both have a strong sense of right and wrong. What Sonic is to freedom, Cream is to justice.
Sonic and Cream are both emotionally introverted characters.
