You should be glad metaphor has a professional translation. The localizers are really intelligent, know Japanese and are the only reason you get the true story of the game.

Could you imagine a localization done by people who don't know japanese? Imagine reading 化けの皮が剥がれる(to reveal one's true colors) not understanding the idiom, thinking it means to literally peel of someone's skin and that somehow getting past QA.
