The only question for F1 this year is to what extent the LVCVA and Review Journal will go to cover up what a disaster it will be.
Downturns are arbitrarily declared to be transient nuisances that won't survive the fiscal quarter; every uptick hearkens a boom era. But the ruins of Las Vegas tell a different story. Dream, Allnet Arena, Majestic, Harmon, etc. Even the ones they do complete, Resorts World, Fontainebleau - are hemorrhaging six figures monthly.
The more you have to spend to travel to Las Vegas, the more alternatives emerge. For that kind of money there are more and more places you can go with some vestiges of a soul and without the ubiquitous, shit-tier customer service.
