I accept your criticism, I just wanna say that I already explained myself. I just woke up and had a brainfart thinking I was talking about Unity, and by the time I finished writing the post it was too late but I posted it anyway cause I don't get to bitch about how much I hate Unity and Unreal often enough

I'm aware that blender isn't a game engine, but I was too eager too shit on people using prebaked slop engines that I figured I'd just be wrong and angry instead of trying to rewrite the post in a way that was still on topic for a blender thread.

I don't actually have any strong feelings for or against blender, I just slept poorly and I hate living in this era of games being slapped together using engine presets for different stock genres and a shitload of generic shit from an asset store.

I may be stupid and wrong, but I just wanted to clarify what kind of stupid and wrong I was

Man, have they really not improved on these things in the last 20 years? I always loved virtual pets but I bought a shitload of the classic gen 1/gen 2 digivices a few years ago and kinda forgot how simple and boring they really are even if they're very fun in concept
