Sailor moon sucks ass. Even precure hit higher highs. Why do mods gotta make these shitty toonami threads all the time? Who runs an anime site and doesn't even watch anime? Fire these lame ass niggas

Its unfortunately not as good (thats a tall order) but its still surprisingly nice. What is an improvement is the platforming, it feels absolutely godlike to play and the pacing is really nice with tons of secrets and optional challenges everywhere in a way DKC doesn't really hit well. Like getting all the collectables feels like a serious challenge and major part of the game, not just a tiny optional thing. But again, boy does this game feel smooth as hell to play.
what kind of person is genuinely hyped to consume jump slop. we are like in a golden age of manga right now and you are reading fuggin MHA and chainsaw man

Its true man, people have been posting the same shit for like the last 10+ years. Like you got people going "ugh theres nothing for me to play, video games are dead" and all they play is superficial slop. Like learn a damn video game holy shit. There's two choices, either learn to play video games or /v/ dies. We can't have a board when its just a handful of faggots playing old rpgs and console shit that are just here to bitch about their wives in 30+ "gamer" threads. /v/ is gunna be dead as shit if its just the same damn elder scrolls and fallout threads every single day with the same stupid bait and the same third worlders baiting each other. Shits boring.
>people who "play" nothing but casual genres like rpgs think they are "gamers"

I could easily recommend modern indies which look like the right but you keep making the same shitty bait thread over and over which makes me thing you arent being genuine and makes me not want to reply genuinely.

Firstly, if you haven't, go play community Doom wads. Sunlust, Scythe 2, Speed of Doom, Ancient Aliens, Plutonia 2, 10x10, Overboard, Golden Souls, Going Down, etc. There are too many people who say they like doom and haven't really played it. Secondly, and I keep saying this again and again, people need to play different genres. The brain is elastic, if you don't use it then it will become brittle, stiff, and unable to enjoy things. Its wrong to look at games like "I enjoyed this game, what are other games like it", anyone can easily figure that out themselves and trying to chase identical highs arbitrarily is a grave error. Rather, you should be looking at genres you don't play and figuring out how to get into them. For example, Unity of Command 2 is a good entry point into wargames, touhou is a good entry into shmups, etc. The more genres you play, the higher the likelihood there is that there will be something new for you to get excited about.

It's an incredible story about a horse that ushers in a powerful new era as an undefeatable competitor with monstrous speed, only to suddenly disappear without warning. This is Agnes Tachyon, and she doesn't even blink before the Japan Cup. That's how incredible the attention to detail is here. Those that follow in her wake have to deal with the feeling of only winning by sheer luck due to her being pulled off the board. Basically, it's crippling imposter syndrome. Meanwhile, Tachyon is trying to cope with her departure from racing by having others achieve her dreams for her, to outsmart her destiny as an umamusume. And rather than pure fiction, its based on an actual era of Japanese horse racing.

Amazing soundtrack, too. A modern classic. What's not to like?
