Nah not a coincidence since fandoms were obnoxiously huge on tumblr around the time homestuck was at its peak in maybe 2012. To this day I still don't know what homestuck is about but all I remember is that everyone who liked it was a huge fag, that it had some kind of appeal to a very specific type of person that typed in a very specifically infantile way not really seen before on the internet, and that all the characters and writing looked like some shit that would turn people into the stephen universe and undertale fans they became. Idk why but I've always had a deep feeling that these people were being primed into becoming sjws.
