I'm emulating everything, but I also started collecting physical stuff this year. Found a used media store near me that sells everything you can imagine. The same week I found that store mega censorship and age verification stuff started, also heard rumors about things like VPN getting banned. Decided to go all in and buying every console there is. No harm in having multiple contingencies plans, you know... in case the internet becomes something I don't want to use anymore.

Never, probably. Which is fine. It took awhile but I've basically adjusted to the new landscape. Most of the games I play are indie or AAA. I stick to genres like rts, strategy, sims and niche rpgs. Wasn't easy, there was a point where I was one of those dudes who could only tolorate the newest slop, shiny graphics and hollywood voice actors. But after accepting the new norm I was eventually able to move on. Never could get into anime and stuff though, which I guess is just something I'm going to live with. Basically means I can't play games from Asia.
