I mean it should be the same if you you mean its still the same story events besides expanding each scene to be twice its length, Shibuya will still be a big hit and be seen as peak for the series much like how Soul Society was for Bleach. Some moments and scenes might hit better due to like having more time to get attached to the characters like Mai and Yuki before their demise. Manga readers would start to dwindle at the final arc which will be even more disliked though for dragging out fights and maybe adding more nobodies to stall Sukuna, more people will admit its a mid series, but by then Culling Games arc is done being animated and they start teasing Gojo vs Sukuna as a movie and they just wont bother adapting the aftermath/conclusion like how the original Bleach anime just ended at the Fullbringer arc.
Now if you mean the story will go more than the final arc, then Sukuna will get sealed/imprisoned rather than get killed, Uraume either flees or submits to join Sukuna. Turns out actually, that there's some really ancient reincarnated sorcerers that are stronger and smarter than Kenny that they were able to dismantle the rules/bindings he made and enact their own plans. America and maybe a few other nations also later found out a way to make artificial sorcerers and decide to invade Japan. Then the aliens also show up like in Modulo except they aren't refugees and are expanding their territories instead, leading to them having to release Sukuna and Uraume to help defeat.
