One thing the other anons didn't mention is that at this point of the setting Armageddon was still called Ullanor and although the orks had been cleared out the imperium hadn't settled the world yet.

Armageddon doesn't get settled by the imperium until after the War of the beast ends when the Admech fuck around with imperial records to hide the location of Ullanor so they can steal the planet and study all the proto krork tech left behind.

No armageddon means no armageddon pattern. That said the picture you posted looks like it has the same sealed crew compartment as every other Sol Aux tank so you could just, call it a Voss or Metallica pattern if you wanted. Its not as if EVERY auxilia Cohort would be exclusively using Mars and Saturnyne pattern equipment.

Vehicles were shit in general and Solar auxilia payed more for vehicles that were worse than their marine equivalents.

>auxilia barrage guns get to play by 2.0 rules (2d6-BS) so long as the ordinance master is within 18" of the unit shooting.
>Not the unit getting shot at, The unit shooting.

Thats cute. Combine that with siege cohorts getting +1 to pinning and the Nu medusa can fire Breaching 5+ D2 Pinning (3) shots 36" away from out of line of sight while only scattering 4" on average with the big 5" blasts

Also the Medusa is down to 140 points from the old 200 point premium, you love to see it.

All the auxilia got cheaper honestly, even lasrifles are down to 50 points naked now with 4ppm afterwards. You can take 20 auxilia with a vexila and vox for the same price as 10 naked tacticals, shits crazy.

The SA might actually be playable again.

3.0 SA can get Thallax, Castellax and Techpriests in the Iron pattern cohorts in 2.0 and 3.0, they just lose out in buffs to SA units from the other Cohorts.

JUSTS earn as many VP off clubbing tactical seals as tacticals earn doing nothing but standing on a point but cost far more to field and transport.

In most games your vanguard will be lucky to get more than one charge on an objective but line units will be able to hold objectives 2 turns fairly consistently.

Vanguard units are for flipping objectives and protecting their line units, you'd be better off with multiple cheaper vanguard squads to threaten multiple objectives over shoving your eggs in one basket like this.

3 squads of assault marines attacking 3 different objectives make more VP than one unit of JUSTS attacking one. Especially since gor most objective holders JUSTS are massive overkill.

Not that they don't have their place tho. JUSTs seem like they have potential protecting tacticals from weaker vanguards so they can continue scoring, their insane stats actually matter when fighting other melee units.
