"Kinds" is a term creationists throw around a lot. They got sick of being shown demonstrable examples of evolution like dogs or variations in birds, so they invented the fictional category of "kinds". They say that animals CAN evolve but they can't go from one "kind" to another. There is no actual definition for what a "kind" is or what stops an animal from escaping its category. It's just a load of bullshit.
