Rereading the last thread, I’m just curious if anyone could actually find a fun matchup for Asura since he got screwed over by having such a boring fight against SOItos. I don’t care if he loses but the fight should be fun and dynamic.
Wank aside, if it was Greektos we could’ve gotten some interesting interactions like them clashing fists with Mantra Asura vs the Nemean Cestus, Asura breaking through time slow from Kratos’s Amulet of Ouroboros, Kratos reflecting Asura’s ranged attacks via Golden Fleece, a soul tug of war with the Claw of Hades, Asura breaking out of stone from Medusa’s Gaze, ect. Sadly, the fight lacked any actual flow or cool moments since they just had Kratos spam Draupnir spears most of the fight. Throwing an amazingly adaptable fighter like Asura against a standing brick wall was such a waste, especially with like 6 minutes of animation.
