If it seems like he's ineffectual it's more because his ego is colliding with various realities, including whatever interest groups guide macroeconomic and national security policies. Maybe corporate, maybe Israel and whatever masonic deep state we'll never know about. The point is it doesn't matter; these policies will only accelerate the already rapid decline of U.S. power and influence.
