The original trailer advertised SMT X FE.
Some people expected Fire Emblem characters summoning demons or a devil survivor style srpg featuring casts from both games.
Instead what we got was an idol game with FE characters as stands and the inly SMT thing was easter eggs and Megaten skill names.
Other than that I cant say much but even Japan, which eats idol shit up, didn't care or like this game so the game didnt appeal to outsiders or Fire Emblem fans or SMT fans.
It flopped on both WiiU and Switch and didnt help that it was censored to hell which is strange given pic related didn't.
