I watched this all happen, and for some reason I was still here when 4chan got hacked and went down a few weeks ago. It was down for 4 ish days or whatever no one cares, but when it came back online the bots were gone. And what you see now is whats left of the humans that came back AFTER the hack. Dead lobby.
