>in conclusion, memegame2 is less a 19th-century simulator and more a steampunk themepark where pops are quantum homunculi who require no shelter or sanitation, railways are perpetual-motion hyperspace conduits immune to entropy, grain fields behave like hydrogen fusion reactors, producing caloric output in perfect disregard for planetary axial tilt or seasonal variation, all glued together by the Cosmic Vending Machine™ that hurls all goods from the Sky to the consumers below without thermodynamic loss
I almost died from wheezing and figuratively screaming "KINO!" at the top of my lungs. I am dying. What a poast, Copy-Otter. Crying tears of joy.

>AAA games take 4-8 years of development
>for the next 4 years, we will see games coming out, which followed fads and social trends from 4-8 years ago
>the previous president and his vp had pronouns in their bio, while the current president officially ended DEI & woke
Isn't anyone else worried about this? Every AAA company was banking on the fact that woke lasts forever. They are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on the development of games, where woke designs and themes are the CORE part of the game. Think of the ridiculous amount of corporate fanfiction produced for all of the Concord characters.

This has the potential to crash the entire gaming industry, /v/. We need to be mature about this and prioritize the survival of our hobby above all else!

The Gaming Industry is in deep crisis
>games take more than half a decade to produce
>cost hundreds of millions of dollars
>Trump won the presidency and cancelled woke & DEI, which are now seen as extremely unpopular policies, which no one in their right mind ever supported
>there are still AT MINIMUM 4 years worth of games coming out, which were all created under the assumption that woke was going to last forever
Do not engage in Schadenfreude, /v/. This is serious! There are games going to come out over the next years. The publishers, the companies, the public, everyone, except maybe for the developers themselves, who are living in a bubble, KNOW these games are going to perform incredibly poorly and make their brand hated. We need a solution for this! Not now, yesterday! There are probably already hedge funds waiting in the shadows to buy up the entire gaming industry!

>You can cheese Maneaters from outside the boss room.
>You can cheese Flamelurker using the terrain in his boss room.
Not relevant for players, who played the game blind like you are supposed to with fromsoft games.
>Armor Spider is literally just a wall that can't even move, and thus is easily cheesed.
That's the entire point of the boss. You can also just wear the brushwood armor and the purple dragon shield and kill him, while fat-rolling, because you take almost no damage from all of his attacks. No cheese needed, just straight up facetank. As long as you are prepared well, you can beat any boss.
>Dirty Colossus can be cheesed using the terrain in his boss room.
Or you know, Dirty Colossus can just be defeated straight-up just by tapping him a few times with your well-upgraded weapon, which you should definitely have by then.
>In fact, every single boss in the game can be cheesed except Penetrator, who is incredibly easy anyway.
How does that make him broken then?
>Mechanics that apply to the player don't apply to human enemies for no reason (case in point, the Maneater Mildred phantom in Valley of Defilement)
Oh yeah, it was really annoying how she wasn't affected by the swamp at all. That made it difficult.
>SCRAPING SPEAR
I mean, yeah that was fucked up, but you just deal with that. I don't remember exactly what I did. I think you just go behind him. After that you return to the nexus, repair everything. It only costs souls and a bit of time.

I would classify most of this as jank, not as broken. Broken would be something like Dungeon Lords, where you can pause the game at any time, but it's not a real pause, it instead just freezes the movement of all enemies, so you can just regenerate to full hp with the click of a button and a bit of time.
