Do you think Kris is aware of our resets? Or the Knight?
In Undertale, Sans knew about the resets but didn't really remember the past timelines. Only Flowey actually carried over memories.
Which do you think it is for Kris and the Knight? They almost certainly know (You) are the reason things can keep progressing, but are they aware of the timelines and to what degree?

All the fraud knight memes made people forget even though the vast majority of the player base struggled immensely even with the shadow mantle. The Knight is fucking strong and you don't even win the fight against them, you just make them stop fucking around and end the fight. Narratively speaking, you also are supposed to job to the knight.

I still think this thing is actually just Dess/The Knight fucking with Kris.
She's pushing all his buttons to get him all riled up so he won't just throw the fight and actually try to beat her for real. Cause she WANTS Kris to get the Shadow Crystal and Black Shard from her, but she can't just give them to them.

Sexy body could still be there though. Presumably Dess isn't in the Knight Form while playing the video game in the other room. Though it is funny to imagine if she is.
