I brought it up during the beta but it was ignored

the end result is that you have a spell that does 2x the damage for 50% of the mana and arcane becomes OP.
The server needs a year of fixes to be any good. Unless you're into progression raiding I'd really just chill until they fix a tone of design issues.
You have stuff like reducing Holy Lights mana cost which is justifiable but when a spell goes from 110mana to 70 mana it's a bad change. I now have a lvl 14 spell that is more mana efficient and HPS efficient then my lvl 20 flash of light. There is a lot of these changes done by someone who clearly didn't think them through. It's not nearly as bad as turtle making bloodthirst deal 30% of it's damage onto the caster but it has robbed me of some enthusiasm.
