Personally I think FMA 2003 is much better than Brotherhood, more of a darker and atmospheric seinen like Monster, not like the latter which is more like Demon Slayer, just dumb kiddie shonen for children

Imo I would rate Frieren and S;G around a 6-7/10 while Brotherhood is like a 0-1/10. It really sucks ass compared to the first FMA, it's much less well made

I've always preferred the original. The ending wasn't perfect but it was grounded, atmospheric, and more intellectual like Monster while Brotherhood was more of a generic shonen a la Demon Slayer that doesn't stand out, other than having a decade-long circlejerk of being venerated as a "classic". It just had more soul
