There's a series of books in my youth I have never finished, and the original details are fuzzy. So I went and downloaded them. Except they're all PDFs. Not just PDFs, they're literally scanned pictures of the books. You can even seen a library stamps on them. And I have an ereader. I want to use OCR tech to get all the words from the books so I can turn them into an epub. What's my best option?
And I assume OCR tech isn't perfect, so I'd like some way to use one or more and compare the two somehow to try and catch errors. Would AI help in this?
