Heavy Rain was one of the few games I dropped because of terrible writing. I couldn't get pass the kid walking out the mall with no explanation as to why he did so. Shit that happens only to progress the story is trash writing and it was a major event which only made the act even more egregious. No hints to the kid being retarded or getting lost. He just fucking leaves the mall and gets hit by a slow moving car which hit Ethan first. Retarded ass game.

I quit the game after realising I needed to get thousands of kills to get Maul's Kenobi emote. Other than that, it's worth it since the game comes with a campaign and multiplayer.
