The thing is this isn't even some exclusive compfag issue. People from literally every skill level hate the intermissions for much of the same reasons. But since certain people on this site can't have an opinion on anything without viewing it as some us vs them thing, they tell themselves "no, actually it's ONLY X group that cares about this" and then automatically hold the opposite view from them just for the sake of making sure they don't agree with them on anything.
