The problem with UI is it has a very good sense of finality to it. THIS is the end point of being a martial artist. Goku has hit his peak so to say. Either you give up Goku there and then OR you retcon shit and say "well not all UI is good UI and also you can use emotions and also super duper UI exists when you get very angry".
