well you mentioned how they act weird and do things like miracle healing, which is not a catholic practice. the issue here is that there isnt a strong parish presence which creates ignorance and leads people astray.
its why africa also has a lot of the same weird sects, Protestantism is a religion without structure or meaning.
And then Latin America is catholic but they like sticking to their pagan roots and sometimes incorporate that into catholic worship.
you should consider getting back into Catholic spiritually as it is the truth, and if done properly it can be beautiful.

Honestly, so much would have to go "right" that I am afraid to say its not the best idea. Certainly not impossible nor terrible to try, but I think k the moment something doesnt go the way either of you wanted it to go its likely to break things apart once more.
So while my answer maybe should be "not yet" its hard say when. There can't be any disagreements and I am not sure that's likely, possible maybe but alas. I'd say think about it deep and hard before anything else.
