Welcome to MMORPGs. Greatest genre ever created despite the fact that it's literally just grinding. Unfortunately no one has made one in about a decade so it's effectively a dead genre. MMORPGs are extremely high risk high reward to develop too, so you'll basically never see one again since all game development is ruled by shareholders now. Kind of insane to think that a single generation of people (Millennials) got to experience the peak of multiplayer gaming for roughly 15 years and now it'll never happen ever again.

I'm getting withdrawal symptoms right now just thinking about being a healer in WoW raids again. God I want it so bad, but I just don't have the time to play anymore. MMORPGs pretty much require you to be unemployed if you want to be a "good" player and I work 5 days per every week of the year, plus having a gf, so I'm basically excluded from all video games that have a competitive aspect to them.
