I worked for the police for a year then left for another job but forgot to return my police phone. This was during the pandemic so I couldn't easily return it, and I soon forgot about it.

A year later I realised I still had a police phone but was too scared to turn it in and since no-one had come after me I just decided to bury it in a drawer and never turn it on again because I was too scared of handing it over and them thinking it wasn't a mistake.

It has been five years and I still have that police phone powered off in my bedroom drawer.
