You want to dual on jumping builds because it lands more attacks.
2handers are about direct damage and AoE attacks. Mostly Power Swords for Psychers because with 2handers STR multiplies all the damage including psychic one at the end of the formula!
I have a strong feel that shields may powercreep 2handers though since melee Pyromancers-Soldiers deal enough damage even with 1handers anyway. As for non-psycher Warriors like Abelard - Most likely wants Shield as well because you'd rather kick than AoE attack most of the time.
