Those girls are specifically the Gold family and I imagine the designers want to reference their fairly wild and unpredictable personalities in their designs

It also then gives them a huge gap moe opportunity when they release cute Swimsuit/Wedding/Christmas/Valentine's ect outfits for them

And Stay Gold's design is excellent imo
