I think I saw maybe one actual Hulk Hogan match back in the late 80s. By the time I came along, he was largely doing just pay-per-views.
Thus I was always more of a Bret Hart kid, as Hart's matches were a hundred times more exciting and fun than Hogan's one match I saw, and Bret oozed charisma and coolness (Plus the sharpshooter is 100 times better than the Leg Drop).
Still, Hogan was an icon and big piece of the 80s, and it's tough watching the 80s die off more and more each year. He also had solid promos in spite of everything else.
Mortality is weird. RIP Hulkamania.
