Didn't know ssh -X were a thing. You can launch GUI processes remotely like its running on the remote server.
This opens up a lot of possibilities and simple solutions that otherwise would require a lot of fiddling.
For starters I can launch the file manager remotely to do some things that are a hassle to do with regular file sharing options, like managing lots of symlinks in one go, or copying files from one place to another in the server local drives without shit going over the network.
