Thailand & Vietnam Digital Nomading Advice
As gay as it sounds, I'm following in the footsteps of Pieiter Levels, and am moving to SEA for a year to try and bootstrap a startup and make something of myself. Quit my job and have 1 years worth of runway. If I fail, i'll move back home and get a boring desk job and give up on my dreams, but at least say that I tried.
Need Advice...!
Where the fuck should i stay? airbnb seems overpriced but i like how you don't have to deal with the hassle of damage deposits, or leases. hostels fit the transient nature and are cheap, but don't know if i can stomach sleeping in a dorm every night. apartments in fb groups seem the most economical, but often want long leases, and are usually not in central locations. colivings seam overpriced but you get the benefit of essentially living in your coworking space as they are often attached. Can anyone drop any links to where you stayed?
I'm on a budget. Coworking spaces are around $200/month, streetfoot $10-$15/day, and would like to keep accomodation under $550
Planning on spending first month in Chiang mai. Just gonna do month to month and then re-asses. Would also like to check out Da Nang and Hoi an, also hanoi.
Punspace coworking is where i'll probably work in Chiang mai, and Hub Hoi An looks good in hoi an. Any other recommendations? recs for hanoi and da nang?
I'm getting more and more anxious as my departure date arrives. Not going there to party and fuck around, generally would just like to extend my runway and meet some like minded people and remove all distractions from my life.
Thanks anons.
