Not a dude, but Kreia fits the bill I think.
>Initially made out to seem like another Jedi master with wisdom beyond your own
>Constantly seems to pull you towards more pragmatic, even grey decisions, pointing out the inherent flaws with outright light or dark side choices
>Even has moments where she's proven correct and does generally guide you towards success
>Despite this, the game's mechanics and world push you towards defining an alignment, in which there are massive benefits for doing so
>Game also shows that generally light side or generally dark side choices still lead to appropriate outcomes, that complete focus on pragmatism is an isolating endeavor
>Between companions, story, and gameplay mechanics, it makes an argument for finding a balance, but still striving towards some kind of cause even if there are inevitable consequences
>Start to realize Kreia is somewhat full of it and is manipulating you in her own way
I see a lot of people, at least outside of /v/, that act like Kreia is a great example of a grey Jedi mentality since she shows you the flaws that come from pure light/dark. But the whole point of her character is that her mentality, while bearing some truth, is flawed. Not to mention it's an effort to manipulate the protagonist and isolate them in a lot of ways. Kreia's not entirely wrong, but idolizing her makes it feel like a person hasn't really played KOTOR 2 fully.
