This is such a weird phenomenon
I got the very clear impression that since 2022, most people in Canada were waking up to how shit things had become and ready to vote Conservative to finally get the Liberals out. Everyone seemed to hate the Liberals and would whole heartedly admit Canada had deep, major structural issues that needed fixing. That immigration was a major issue too.
Then overnight, after Trump won, suddenly anybody that wanted to talk about real issues in Canada was a "traitor" or "just bashing Canada" and you'd hear "these problems are not unique to Canada, don't ya know?" from normies. Talk about immigration? You suddenly would be called racist and intolerant again by the same people who had agreed immigration should be reduced months ago.
Suddenly overnight Trump was somehow the cause of all the bad things that had been happening the past 10 years. Question it? You're just bashing Canada!
And if you didn't vote the Liberals in again you were a Maple Maga traitor.
It's absolutely mindboggling how this happened. I've never been more blackpilled in my life at how utterly retarded most of this country truly is. Fuck it, bud. (on vacation)
