New continents were a mistake. The only acceptable new landmass added to the game was northrend. Every single expansion and new storyline should have been contained to kalimdor and the eastern kingdoms.

Sneedolands really was the last nail in the coffin. The lore is actually unsalvageable after that. The only option is the retcon that shit.
