What happens if the Thalmor take over Skyrim and why do the Empire submit to them so willingly? I'm not very knowledgeable of Elder Scrolls lore. Is the Dominion actually really powerful/large? Because nothing in Skyrim really suggests that they have some huge military force. Just that they have the Emperor's nudes and a couple of field agents in low level armor.

A man after my own heart. Couldn't stand the leads or the main story. It was too much anime faggotry and plot conveniences. I liked the Shinra/Avalanche shit though.
I was really hoping they would do a sequel focusing on Rufus, Reeve and Cid (among others) as they restart the Shinra Space Program and start making an actual difference in the world, obviously with a major focus on the World Regenesis Organization.
That's the weirdest fucking part of FF7 and its universe is there's so much buildup of the socioeconomics of the world, and then it just kinda gets sidelined and never brought up again or even resolved. Even as of Dirge of Cerberus and Advent Children the question of

is still up in the air, with oil being a prominent but a presumably unfavorable regression, due to its own impact on the ecosystem and the population.

Because it's been clear for a while now that 2e sucks. Or, at the very least, that it's for a very specific kind of audience (mainly the 4e rejects). PF2e's hyperbalanced and "game-y" approach to everything, isn't most people's cup of tea. Spellcasters have also been cucked to provide support since their dps is wet noodles. Supposedly they are capable of hitting more consistently than martials but for much less damage.
So gone are the days were you felt powerful weaving magic around you.

Also, if you complained about PF1e being woke, then you're gonna love 2e (ex. drow have been removed due to dark skin color and magically replaced by some snakepeople, slavery is VERBOTEN because our feefees get hurt when we mention it in our imaginary play, etc)
